Level 1: Core Fundamentals (150+hrs)

This Level 1 class is a 10-week program, and classes are held Wednesdays 9am-5pm & Saturdays 9am-6pm. (Please be aware that some full weekend classes may be scheduled).

Course Description:

• Anatomy: 32hrs
• Kinesiology: 18hrs
• Massage History & Development: 4hrs
• Pathology & Contraindications: 4hrs
• Review & Discussion of Practical Application: 12hrs
• Introduction to Hands On Swedish Massage: 100hrs

Level 1: $2,095 enrollment requires a $400 deposit, in addition to a $35 application fee for a background check processing. The remaining balance is to be paid before the end of the 10wk program. No refunds given after classes have begun.

Level 2: Apprenticeship/Clinical Residency Program (540hrs)

This course will take a minimum of 26wks, maximum of 52wks. Students at MPI/MMCA are mentored by a qualified HI licensed massage therapist during their training, to improve and hone their skills as a professional. Clinic schedules will be set up for supervised clinic hours, as well as advanced technique courses. Level 2 technique classes are held on Mondays and some weekends. Students must complete Level 1 Core Fundamentals, before they may apply to the Level 2 Apprenticeship/Clinical Residency program.

Level 2 transfers are accepted, with proof of satisfactory Level 1 completion from a qualified school/workshop, and passing a practical exam.

Level 2: $2,995 Enrollment requires a $500 deposit, with the balance to be paid within 26wks. No refunds given after the state apprenticeship permit has been acquired.
